Blog#12 What surprised you from the worm's dissection?
What surprised me from the worms dissection is how stiff the worm was. I thought worms were easy to kill and open because they look so fragile. They are squishy too so thats why i thought it would be easy to dissect. The worm was pretty big as well i never knew there were worms that size. It was a harder dissection project then i expected.

Get a picture of alternation of generations put it in your blog and explain how it relates to plants

The relations of alternation of generations to plants is compared because it goes through the steps of how a plant grows. The female gametes, male gametes, mitosis, and fertilization all relate to growing a plant. It goes through haploid generation and diploid generation. Its like a cycle it just goes around thats how plants are grown.

Why is dissection an important part of a biology curriculum? Which animals and/or plants should be included in biological studies?
Dissection is an important part of a biology curriculum because it lets you learn about the insides of an animal. It gives you the experience to see how the body structure of an animal is. Animals that should be included to the biological studies are frogs and the plants are grass because those are normal to dissect on. The biological studies are those that should be included in.

Competition
Interaction that can occur between individuals or species as they attempt to use the same, limited resources, particularly energy, nutrients or space
Bees competes to get honey.
Mutualism -beneficial to both species
Actually a two-way exploitation. Food is beneficial to both species.

Why are the gases on earth getting trapped? Why is there global warming? Is it true there is a layer on the sky that traps all the gases and bounces back to earth? How do we stop global warming? Do we need to make an effort to try to save earth before everybody dies? We need answers as soon as possible.

Blog 7 Compare and contrast two biomes describe them in detail include pictures of plants and animals you are likely to see.
Terrestrial (land) biomes and Aquatic biomes (including Freshwater biomes and Marine biomes) are the type of biomes I'm going to compare. The marine regions are divided between coral reefs, estuaries, and oceans. Biomes are often named for their predominant vegetation, and all have certain characteristics such as microorganisms, fungi, and animals which have adapted to their particular environment. Terrestrial is land animals that live on earth land. Like the desert or any wild place. Any forest mountains anywhere.

Blog #6 Which level of a food pyramid is the most important? Support your answer
I think the vegetable group is the more important group of the food pyramid. Too many people eat the meat group and don't care about the veggies. Its important to balance everything out so you'll be healthy. Too much of one thing is not good for you. You need everything. That means the fruits and stuff too. And people rarely think about the veggie group all they care about is the steak and good meat.
